"Annotated Bibliography and Articles about Principles of vocabulary development"



In writing we need a lot of vocabularies. Vocabulary development must be an important part of our learning in writing. Laflamme (1997) offers several key principles that should guide the creation and implementation of a comprehensive vocabulary development program. There are 6 principle of vocabulary development. If we as a teacher, we must give a techniques or procedures for developing a broad and varied vocabulary to the student. First, student must learn to become comfortable using these words in the classroom. The important methods to make students become understand new vocabularies are practice and repetition. School, teachers and students have a relation each other in developing vocabulary. We are in that part, so we have a commit to make our knowledge better, especially in adding our new vocabulary.
